Yeastar Auto Provision Phone Firmware

You can update the phone firmware by Auto Provision method. Note: Auto provisioning phone firmware only works for the phones that were registered to the PBX via auto provisioning.

Yeastar Auto Provisioning is a feature that allows Yeastar PBX users to automatically configure and update their IP phones using the firmware files stored on the PBX.

To use Auto Provisioning, you need to make sure that your Yeastar PBX is configured correctly and that the firmware files for your IP phones are available on the PBX. You can download the firmware files from the Yeastar website or from the IP phone manufacturer’s website.

Here are the steps to auto provision your Yeastar IP phones:

1. Log in to your Yeastar PBX web interface and navigate to the “Auto Provisioning” page.
2. Add the MAC address of your IP phone to the PBX’s Auto Provisioning list.
3. Select the firmware version you want to use for the IP phone.
4. Click the “Save” button to save the settings.
5. Reboot your IP phone.

Once your IP phone reboots, it will automatically download and install the firmware version you selected. If there is a newer version of the firmware available, the IP phone will automatically update to the latest version.

You can repeat these steps for all of your Yeastar IP phones to ensure that they are using the latest firmware versions and are configured correctly.
