This guide walks you through the basics of programming your Yeastar IP PBX via the web interface. You’ll need a Yeastar device (e.g., S20, S50, S100) and access to its web-based admin portal.

Things You’ll Need on How to Program a Yeastar IP PBX System
- A Yeastar IP PBX system (e.g., Yeastar S50)
- A PC or laptop connected to the same network
- Access to the Yeastar Web GUI (usually
http://<PBX_IP>:8088)
Step 1: Log in to the Admin Interface
Open a web browser and enter the IP address of your Yeastar device (e.g., http://192.168.0.100:8088).
Use your admin username and password. The default is usually:
- Username: admin
- Password: password
⚠️ Change your password immediately after logging in for the first time.
Step 2: Set Up Extensions
Go to PBX → Extensions.
Click Add and choose the extension type (e.g., SIP, IAX).
Fill in the user’s name, extension number, and password.
Click Save and Apply Changes.
Step 3: Configure Trunks
To connect to your SIP provider or analog lines:
- Navigate to PBX → Trunks
