The Ubiquiti EdgeMAX EdgeRouter 12 (ER-12) offers next-generation price/performance value: up to 3.4 million packets per second processing with a line rate of up to 6.8 Gbps. 10 Copper Gigabit ports and two independent SFP ports allow for deployment flexibility. The EdgeRouter 12 supports Layer-2 switching. The EdgeRouter 12 can be rack-mounted with the use of the EdgeRouter Rack Mount Kit, model ER-RMKIT (sold separately).

The ER-12 also supports Layer 2 switching on ports 0–7 and includes PoE input (port 0) and PoE passthrough (port 9), making it ideal for powering cameras or other passive PoE devices.

This fanless, silent router can be wall-mounted or rack-mounted (with optional ER-RMKIT) and is fully managed via UNMS™, Ubiquiti’s cloud-based Network Management System.
