The Giganet Cat6A PVC Cable GN-C6A-U/UTP-PVC is a high-performance indoor networking cable designed for structured cabling installations. It features solid bare copper conductors, a durable PVC outer sheath, and reliable 500MHz performance. Therefore, it is an excellent choice for Gigabit and 10 Gigabit Ethernet applications in offices, schools, commercial buildings, and other indoor environments.
Manufactured to meet ANSI/TIA-568.2-D, ISO/IEC 11801-1, and EN 50173-1 standards, this cable delivers dependable performance for modern network infrastructure. Moreover, its high-quality construction helps maintain stable signal transmission while supporting demanding data applications.
Each cable contains eight colour-coded 23AWG solid bare copper conductors insulated with polyethylene. The conductors form four twisted pairs with carefully controlled lay lengths to minimise signal interference. In addition, a central X-shaped polyethylene separator keeps the pairs correctly spaced, helping preserve transmission performance across the entire cable length.
To further improve signal quality, Giganet wraps the cable core with clear Mylar tape before applying an overall foil screen and a 24AWG drain wire. As a result, the cable provides excellent protection against electromagnetic interference (EMI), ensuring more reliable data transmission in electrically noisy environments.
The durable PVC outer jacket makes the cable suitable for indoor installations while providing mechanical protection during installation and everyday use. Furthermore, the cable is supplied on a convenient 305-metre drum, making it ideal for professional installers working on structured cabling projects of different sizes.
